March 3rd CalJulia BP Day!

The daffodils we planted with the student volunteers last fall are popping up all over Julia Street. Now the students are ready to return and join us in more clean-up, community, fun, and this time: tree planting!

What: Neighborhood Cleanup & Tree Planting
Where: Meet at 1508 Julia Street (Tania & Jason’s house) – cleanup will be on all four of our blocks
When: 9:30-4:00 Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 (come all day, or half an hour, or anything in between!)

If you missed our last cleanup day in October, now’s your chance to get in on the action. Once again, we’re lucky to be hosting 20 Cal students for a day of service in our neighborhood. And, once again, we’ll start with a thorough trash pickup on our four blocks (1500-1600 Julia + 2900 California). Then we’ll move on to planting 6-8 trees on Julia Street.
