CalJulia Traffic Calming Request

Hello Neighbors –

FYI, I just sent out our Traffic Calming Request, per the detailed instructions of the Traffic Engineer. See below if you’re interested in what I sent out. If you’re more interested in the process, you can check out the instructions online: http://www.ci.berkeley.ca.us/Public_Works/Transportation/Traffic_Calming_in_Berkeley.aspx

I will let you know if I hear any specific updates from Mr. Kazmi.

Cheers!
Sofia

Dear Mr. Kazmi:

We would like to thank you again for taking the time to meet with our group last week and discuss the possibilities for improving pedestrian and cyclist safety at the California/Julia Street intersection.

I mailed a hard copy of the Traffic Calming Request Questionnaire to your office today. However, for your convenience, I am attaching to this email PDF copy of the Questionnaire, my letter of request, and our supporting document.

I will be serving as the main contact person for this project. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or if you need any additional information.

I look forward to working with you.

Respectfully,
Sofia
